From now until our POP-UP SHOP on July 18th, we’ll be doing featurettes on each of the brands whose wares we’ll stock. Be sure to come check us out at The Old Bank Barbers in Baltimore from July 18th-20th to see the specially curated collection in person.
Brick & Mortar Brand Featurette: Railcar Fine Goods (California)
Railcar Fine Goods’ Steven Dang isn’t just a master of raw and selvage denim. He’s also how Railcar got its name— from his time working as a mechanic on the Los Angeles Metro Goldline. In the years since Railcar started, Steven has consistently blurred the line between apparel and experiment by creating limited-run specialty denim styles and, recently, a year-long fade contest where pre-order buyers see their jeans built (and, subsequently, worn down) from start to finish before their very eyes. In what is frequently thought of as a man’s realm of raw denim, Steven also creates womenswear versions of his popular styles, including, most recently, a selvage denim cutoff short. Among countless raw denim brands, Railcar continues to stand out by creating both inventive and meaningful products.
Our pick: Railcar Spikes x002
